Designing and Planning (Pre-Deployment Services)

Proficient in designing and planning scalable Active Directory Services (AD DS) topologies (including multiple AD DS forests, domains and sites and/or locations), our design strategy includes the usage of virtualization for servers, networks and storage in order to maximize today’s hardware and optimize licensing. MWC's experts provide a design solution which supports a high availability infrastructure through the use of fail over clustering. Scalability and ease of use is accounted for by designing an IP strategy for configuration, address management and Domain Name Services (DNS).
Installation & Configuration Services
Our technicians are responsible for proper provisioning, installation/configuration, operation and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. Installation & Configuration Services include: implementation of Network Services such as IPv4, IPv6, Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), Domain Name System (DNS) and IP Address Management (IPAM). We ensure system reliability and performance by implementing fail over clusters and configure and validate highly available network services. To ensure application reliability and performance, we implement and validate high availability and load balancing for web-based applications by implementing NLB. Our team is proficient in installing and configuring Virtual Machines on both local and shared storage.
Management & Maintenance Services
Our System Administrators establish procedures for maintaining user accounts and assigning file permissions, passwords and account policies. We install, upgrade, configure, test, maintain and support operating system software in a production environment and perform and/or oversee daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs and verify completion of scheduled jobs such as backups. Our System Administrator serves as a company authority in establishing procedures for the maintenance of data files and control procedures for a complex system of networked computers or for a single group of microcomputers linked to a host workstation or mainframe.
Compliance and Security Services
MWC's design solutions focus on system security and data integrity. Security is achieved by using best of breed encryption and proper deployment and maintenance of the Group Policy Infrastructure. Our System Administrators monitor and define the use of resources and work with management to define Requests for Information. We ensure that system hardware, operating systems, software systems and related procedures adhere to organizational values while also recommending and directing software changes and updates to keep department systems current. With OEM's licensing models ever changing, product application compliance can be overwhelming; therefore, MWC's provided consultants are proficient in product a myriad of software licensing.
Backup and Disaster Recovery Services
MWC's System Administrators perform and/or oversee daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media; recovery tapes or disks are created; and media is recycled and sent off-site as necessary.
Training Services
Our System Administrators provide user support and conducts user software and hardware training to formulate technology solutions and ensure the effective safeguarding and sharing of enterprise data.
