TEST AND EVALUATION (T&E)

MWC is experienced in providing Test & Evaluation (T&E) support ranging from requirements analysis and conversion to test objectives; development of entrance and exit criteria; test engineering to determine the most straightforward means to verify a requirement/test objective; development of the Test Hardware Architecture; and selection of necessary test tools and Simulation/Stimulation devices to ascertain that a given test objective has been satisfied. 

MWC's T&E experts have planned, executed, and formally reported on Bench Tests of hardware and software, Black Box Tests, White Box Tests, Software Acceptance Tests (SAT), Network Tests (NT), Development Tests (DT), Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) tests, End-To-End (E2E), and Regression Testing on several C5ISR systems and networks to also include RF interfaces such as HF/UHF/SHF and broadband Satellite Communications (SATCOM). 

MWC has a great deal of experience in the development of Test Plans, highly disciplined detailed step-by-step Test Procedures, development of and participation in Test Readiness Reviews (TRRs), test execution, daily “Hot Wash” meetings at the conclusion of each Test Day to discuss problems identified during testing through that Test Day, severity of problems, and overall status of the test event.  Our staff is also highly skilled in the development of detailed Test Reports including scientific charts and graphs to support the overall test results, conclusion and recommendation. 

MWC T&E experts are skilled at configuration and operation of the IBM Rational Jazz suite of tools to plan, execute and collaborate T&E-related information with leadership, stakeholders and other interested parties i.e., software/hardware developers, requirements managers, and Information Assurance (IA) representatives.

MWC has provided T&E support to several Space and Naval Warfare (SPAWAR) programs and projects supporting Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) including: Tactical Service Oriented Architecture (TSOA), Assault Amphibious Vehicle (AAV), Assault Vehicle Portfolio (AVP), Joint Tactical Common Operational Picture Workstation (JTCW) and Combat Operational Center (COC).

MWC has provided skilled technical expertise in the following specific areas of T&E to the Government: 

Test Engineering:

Analysis of System(s) being tested

Analysis of requirements being verified and/or validated

Define the System Architecture necessary to perform a given test event

Selection and acquisition of test tools

Selection and acquisition of Sim/Stim devices

Determination of space, rack space, power, cooling, manpower, test schedule, network topology requirements, and antenna/RF requirements to successfully execute and complete the Test Event.

Set-up of IBM Rational Jazz suite of tools (Rational Quality Manager, Rational Requirements Composer/IBM DOORS/IBM DOORS Next Gen requirements tool, such that the test cases and test scripts are traced to the proper requirement(s).
